| Errrrmmm.... before you think "wai wai".... Is it the club or the person behind the club? I bet this has been discussed many times before. But I just felt the need to rant a bit. I am using this set of clubs for a pretty long time. Somehow, the few times I tried using other clubs... THEY felt darn good. I was able to hit the ball better. Hmmm... which makes me wonder ... should I get a new set? but aiyah... I say say only lah... can't even hit with a driver. | |

| Other people clubs are always better, but once you own the same club, there will be another club owned by another people which is even better U wanna go down this path? I took it long ago hahaaaa | |

| Definitely no the man in your case.. I strongly believe it's the woman and not the club... Unless, you are talking about your man and your golf clubs.. Which vs Who ? | |

| It is called the "honeymoon" period. It is where everything is great, no worries, life is good. None of the old "business" creeps into the relationship.
It is when the "honeymoon" period is over is when the rubber meets the road. That is a true test of whether something will stay in the bag. When that is differs from person to person, but typically after a few rounds, it really depends on how much you play.
The big thing is if it can make it to the bag and stay, then you have a winner. Why? Because you will build confidence and understanding of how that club or clubs work for you. Takes some doubt out of the equation.
Truth be told....I love to try new clubs and I am sure it costs me strokes when I play golf. But that is ok, since I don't do it for a living any longer, it is all about enjoyment and for me that can entail hitting a new iron, wedge, putter, or driver.

Brudder 3131T, ok ok it's 'cos of the phobia (of killing someone at the range) that I stop trying to use the driver. And since I started taking up lessons again (beginner, mind you), my coach has not permitted me to proceed to the longer irons and the woods lah.

| nothing is forever... sure change club heads, shafts, grips, whole sets .. new frens with new nicer stuff will come along and u will be tempted.. likewise ur swing.. also cant stay forever the same .. sooner or later something will initiate the change : more distance required, missing the fairways, growing old and cant do what u did earlier, sustain an injury, a pulled muscle.. even a passing comment from another golfer ... thats golf..lol | |
