October 24: Ever wanted to be part of a world-class sporting event? Well, here is your chance!

The Iskandar Johor Open is looking for volunteers to help at this year’s season-ending showcase taking place at Horizon Hills Golf and Country Club, Johor from 13-16 December.

Whether it is your first golf event or if you are a seasoned golfer and volunteer; the event organisers have a range of roles to fill from marshals and scorers to forecaddies and leader board carriers.

It could be you walking down the 18th fairway, inside the ropes, on the final day of play
beside the player that is about to win the trophy and a large slice of the US$2million prize purse. In the roles you are assigned you will support some of the world’s best golfers such as Sergio Garcia and Thongchai Jaidee over the four days of exciting action.

All volunteers will receive a tournament t-shirt, a meal voucher each day and there will be transportation from various pick-up points. You will also get to play in a special golf day at Horizon Hills after the event so you can experience the challenging course firsthand.

In return, you would need to be available from 13-16 December with your shift lasting an average eight hours each day.

The organisers are keen to engage all local golf enthusiasts and those further afield to ensure a fantastic team of reliable and enthusiastic volunteers is in place to help deliver the best event yet.
