This is an absolutely awesome place.

Apparently it was formed billions of years ago by a glacier.

It is definitely a place of immense beauty and serenity. Everyone should visit the park at least once in their lives.

Can't remember. Probably somewhere in the windermere region.

But there are so many scenic spots in Lake District anyway. Only problem is the food offerings there are quite limited.

Oh me and my wife found the selection of eateries to be aplenty for the 7 nights we were put up at Ambleside, a small town in the Lake District - with a population of only 2,000ppl

We particularly loved the hongkong take away restaurant off the corner of Church St. Run by a HOngkong owner, it served authentic sweet sour pork and fried rice and "Singapore Bee Hoon".

We reckon it tasted better than those we can find in China Chinese restaurant back home!

Anyways, whats the deal about "singaporean" fried rice and fried bee hoon? Why are they so common overseas??
