How to judge distance?

Pretty accurate in MBGC too

In BKK, I depend on the caddy.
If no caddy, I will fallback to SAF

Find the course marker... Count how many 1m steps to your ball...
Note that most distance markers are to the Center of the green...

So if the marker says 150m... Ur ball is 5m infront of the marker, so means ur ball is approx 145m to the Center of the green

Usually minus 10-20m depending on front pin and add 10-20m for back pin
Also depends on generally how big the greens are

This is an iPhone app right? Does it require 3G to operate? I usually play in JB so no 3G available.

my friend told me that you can actually download the course layout when you have internet connection. Therefore, when you are in JB, you can just use the GPS feature to get the distance from the ball to the centre of the green.

Not sure now true it is though, i have not try it out yet.

I downloaded the course layout in sg first and then use GPS in malaysia. First time I used it, i forgot to download the course layout, but can still get the information (just that not in layout format).
