| Hi guys
I'm looking to start collecting my scorecards for hcp purposes, would be cool to do it along with other fellow players at the same level. I'm keen to play both in SG or nearby (Bintan or else), as a matter of fact I've never played around here yet since I've moved a few months ago.
Looking forward to get in touch with you!

| Been playing on and off since a year+, now usually practice at Toa Payoh range.
I've been playing at different 9 holes courses in Europe, never at 18 holes courses but willing to start with people around my level (so to have fun together and not slowing down good players).

| Errr...so what's your level? E.g 1) I'm able to launch my ball using my driver fairly straight, average distance usually around 250m, 2) My 7 iron goes no more than 120m, and that's when I usually top it Something like that. I play like crap too and won't mind joining for a game or two just to make new friends | |

| Nothing is too bad to write about man...this is a forum to share and learn....no need paiseh one. I, for one, sometimes can't get my PW past the 100m mark. Sometimes my 3H goes as far as my 7i, which is around 130m | |

| Don't know why it didn't post my previous msg. Anyway, my short irons are quite ok, especially i8 which generally gets 120/125 mt ok. Still working on longer, especially 4-5. Woods are a nightmare, and I carefully make sure not to take my driver with me when going to course as it's really bad!! Short game quite ok, putt depends on good/bad days! All in all, crap but working on it! | |

Driver can get it to +/- 200m. 3w isn't consistent so hardly use it. for irons, 9,8 goes about 100 and a 7i goes about 110-120 still working on refining my swing and getting it more consistent though....

| i am also collecting cards for hcp. But i guess its not about 7i can hit 120-130, more about accuracy. If you can consistently hit it 7i about 110 and dead on target +- 10m you will sure cut your scores like crazy. thats my take, maybe wrong. Cheers! | |

Maybe, another easier way to gauge is like white tee, below 100 or 110? that maybe be able to tell the player's standard i guess.

| Agree. When playing for hcp scorecards will always play with bogey/dbl bogey in mind. I guess if I'd play for par I would force too much trying to reach green in 2 instead of being in a slightly more comfortable zone by playing shorter irons in a more relaxed way. My two cents. | |
