| Many here perhaps still do not know about MGK.. But please check it out..! For me: 1. I get to play at MBGC for $70 on Mondays and Tuesdays 2. Get to play at the prestigious OCC for $82 Mondays to Fridays. Booking is a breeze and slots are always available.. 3. The staff in MGK are always friendly and willing to help.. Once my voucher was dated wrongly (2011 instead of 2012).. No questions asked, the staff apologized and immediately amended the date.. Done in less than 3 minutes.. My wishes for MGK: 1. Organize more tournaments at affordable fees.. (and better food served after games please) 2. Better rates for other courses like Seletar and perhaps Jurong CC too ? 3. Take over the cafe at MBGC, cos the food sucks, the service is worse and I have to pay 60 cents for a cup of tap water there !!! Of course there are many more advantages of joining MGK.. I'm glad my buddies got me to join MGK... p/s: I do not own a share in MGK, neither do I benefit in anyway from this thread.. | |

I would agree of your wishes item 3 in your list. Hope they can serve better food, quite often i do have to have dinner there before going to range. : ) but i not sure how MGK is affiliated to MBGC.

| Guys, also do note that while email booking has to be done to enjoy the $70 rate on mon and tues, Mbgc also charges email booking charges, $10 if I'm not wrong. On the other days, if booking online, I think they have some svc charges also. For those who play there often, you might wanna apply for the Mbgc card there. That waives your svc charges when you book online. Also, Mbgc does maintenance on mons and tues mornings. So it's 2x9 if you play in the mornings. Try to go for afternns if you wanna make good use of your $70 | |

| When comes to MBGC,
I hate it most is they dun even have a water cooler for me to fill my coleman bottle. I've to fill it at home as I cant be drinking 2 litres of 100 plus...
And no halfway house too...

| The email booking charges should not apply to MGK members booking to enjoy Monday and Tuesday promotion. If they do, pls drop a note to contact@mygolfkaki.com and someone will sort it out for you.
@Chien: thanks for the support!
As for the cafe, MGK will be focusing on golf and there are no immediate or future plans to branch into catering ... But feedback well received on the rest of the items mentioned and it is something we will look at in the coming months. Can't promise that we can deliver on everything, but we will certaintly try our best.

| I thought the MBGC cafe is fairly decent, but I agree about the lack of water cooler. That should be a no-brainer.
Rather than have the vending machine at the buggy area, install a water cooler instead.

| I do think MBGC is value for money in term of golfing. I did ask them abt why not having a water cooler on the course. Reason they give is this is a public course so not entitled. Btw when you played badminton in CC, they are a public place yet they do have water cooler? Does it mean golfers got more money??? Next I asked them, what if someone got some heat exhaustion out there? No toilet or water cooler. They got no answer for it. | |

| One interesting conversation I had with a lady working in the cafe: Me: "Auntie, why i take ice from you , you have to charge me $1 ??" Auntie: "You got buy drink or not" Me: "No la auntie, your beer $6.40, and your mineral water also so expensive, I bought my own la.. But I just need ice from you for my cooler box only.. Your food also expensive la.." Auntie: "No choice la, the rental here is very expensive.. Everything also expensive.." Me: "But here NTUC mah, not cheaper?" Auntie: "No la, very expensive..." There you go... Now we all understand why we have to pay 60 cents for tap water, no water cooler, and $6.40 for a can of beer... BUT......... I still like MyGolfKaki.... | |

| If water cooler provided, there will be less income for the "atas" food operator. The service is also wanting. | |
