time for a long awaited intro

hi all, self intro after joining this forum for more than 3 mths...

i got into this game thru my girlfriend who took lessons with her friends and i got more addicted than her... and started taking lessons also. i practise twice a week or more at mgbc and finally decide to assemble my own golf set a couple weeks ago. thanks to all the good deals on this forum and on ebay sometimes... i finally assembled my own set and will be playing my 1st game hopefully end of this month. hopefully will improve in time and be able to play with you guys and gals sometimes.

i picked this game up less than a year ago so i'm very new to it all too! no games under my belt yet unfortunately.. do let us know how your first game goes! i heard the experience is exhilarating.

at first when I read "assembly my own golf set" I thought you built your own set? then I saw forum/ebay.. I presume you bought.. hahhaha

Some of us here, do assemble/repair/customize our own golf equipment. Maybe one day your interest will take you down this route too... Can check out the simple paintfill projects posted on the forum etc..

Do enjoy your stay, contribut more and join up for games, kopi, tcss.. etc..

lol... i do read some of those threads and clean/maintain my clubs with those tips. i also use the scratch remover and car wax i use for my car to try and restore the look and condition of some of the 2nd hand woods i got.

welcome, i am new to the game as well. started in august, hopefully can get to do a par3 9 hole next week.

oops.... thats just for fun... many people pity my poor dog for having sure a heartless owner who pokes fun of her pooing....... hehe... i'll change it soon if it offends anyone else.

It doesn't offend me, just erks me. I feel like I'll skip lunch now.
