This is not a review, I am not good enough a player to be writing reviews this is more of a poisoning posts to get people to jump on the Adams Golf bandwagon. First some background, I am a 17 handicapper, plays more like a 22handicapper. My game averages in the low 90s, picked up the game in sept 09. Like many other golfers, is quite an equipment slut, this would be my 7 or 8th set of irons since 09. The predecessor to these irons was also another Adams set, the Adams Idea Pro A12. Had it for almost a year before making a switch to the current CMBs. Reason for switch: Backside itchy.
Ever since Adams A12s, I have been in love with the underrate company for their brilliant products, its just too bad that they do not have strong marketing locally or in US and are only well represented on tour via the Senior and LPGA. On the PGA there's Aaron Baddeley, Chad Campbell, Gary Christian, Robert Karlsson, Ryan Moore and Steve Wheatcroft. Not really big names, and they do not enter the winners circle too often.
Ok, onto the irons. They are gorgeous to look at, heck don't take it from me, take a look at the photos on the internet. Sits very nicely, has a thin topline, thinner than the A12s(slightly), fits into the players irons category like the A12 and MP58s. Off the rack, they come stock with Matrix Ozik graphite shafts or KBS C-Tapers. I got mine with Project X PXI 5.5 shafts through ebay.
Shot 99, 100 and 87 in the last 3 games with these irons, so still plenty of work in progress. But thus far, am loving them.
I tot they only sell the A12s at GH? Wanted to buy, but the ones with the graphite shafts (only ones in Suntec) is just too expensive. Think it was about $1600 or something.
