Sometimes, you just wanna bring a single club out to the range.
(You know? have some free time in between?)

What can one use to 'carry' the club?
It looks kinda weird to hold one club and walk about.

Weird answer to Weird question: Use a fishing rod bag/ container. Bring ur club to a fishing tackle shop and check out a suitable bag.. they come in various lengths, designs and sizes.. some are simply a cloth bag with cloth ties whilst others r better designed w vinyl casings w zippers.

There's actually a "skinny" type of Sunday Bag. Have previously seen one by Ping. If they don't carry it anymore, I am sure you will be able to find one at FESC. It's the soft material kind

I do it almost every day. Walked to the range this morning with a putter and a 56, going back this evening with just the 56. I feel weird when I walk there with the full bag...

I lost two balls on the putting range this morning while chipping with my 56... so I'll be in that SINGLE CLUB for a while.

me non-club membership golfer the Pay&Play type - all over JB from Banang to Poresia n Western Australia.. in Sg only few places where can afford

As far as I am concern, I do not feel weird at all to carry a single club and walk round. In fact, I carry my driver to take MRT when I do not drive once I am in Singapore. If you are carrying a iron or putter are even much shorter.

Unless, you are carrying more then 1 clubs then suggest to use a Sunday bag. It is most convenient not because it look weird.

If you feel uneasy in doing so, I suggest you get those a long plastic bag that Golf House used when you buy a new club from them.

I like to meet people that carry golf club. I would asked " excuse me, are you a golfer ? " that when the golf conversation started. That how I know my wife ! ( No, I lied )

Same here. I'll just carry the club around. I've even carried 3 clubs to the range in my hand. Most people don't care. Worst case, you'll end up on STOMP
