Newbie reporting in... Hope to get few pcs of advises from the old birdies here. I looking ard for a new set of clubs, am current using my frd's old set of gear. Any ideal where can I get good clubs for beginner likes me? Any brand or model to look for... Thank in advance, guys...

Alternatively, you can also swing by Far East Shopping Centre or Creative Golf at Chinatown to hunt for a set.

What specific clubs are you searching? Driver, Woods or Irons etc..

welcome welcome welcome to GR! try eBay if u wish too! sometimes the new prices of past seasons' sets there could be same as if not cheaper than secondhand price here in Sg but dont forget to factor in shipping costs and always buy from reputable sellers....

AP1??? I doubt it, maybe forgiving for titleist standard, imho, but not in term of other clubs standard. I thought callaway x-series is one of the more forgiving clubs in the mkt and it can play up till your hcp is quite low, but it's no longer in production. I think the replacement model is the razr series. TM Burner are forgiving but forget them brand new as TM tends to release many models in a year so get a second hand set, if you want a TM. In fact, current clubs technology there are so many irons in the market that's forgiving from callaway to taylormade to etc etc. Even the BFG CB 003 is quite forgiving too.

R11 is your best bet ... Easy to hit

You can alway drop by Far East Shopping center to look around there are a lot of used golf clubs for you to choose. Enjoy your shopping!

No mentiong there were too many brands n you ll need advices/ feedback.
Fr e above refer picked, go fr their demo day to swing fr yr feel as well as liking.
There ve it every mth so go find out e date n venue ok!
