Any PGA Tour player wins with Graphite in their irons?

the question is - In 2009 was there any PGA Tour player who wins with his irons shafted with graphite shaft.

anyone knows the answer?

Rich Beem took the 2002 PGA Championship with Aldila Tour Gold graphite shafted irons. Won by a stroke over Tiger Woods.

oh this one i know! i was watching him use them a few weeks back.. haha

is it Matt Kuchar? he won the turning stone resort championship with them. not sure they are though..

I think Colin Montgomerie also won the Asian Tour Indonesia Open some years back with graphite......but not sure what brand

oo did some googling; his shafts are Aerotech 95 grams X flex a half inch over standard

The shafts are really fantastic guys. No doubts about it. One key element to my steep improvement is also because of these shafts. I was never able to hit my 5 or 4 iron previously, but after changing to the aerotech shafts, the rest was history.

DGman, thanks for the superbly fitted 4iron on the aerotechs.... I am getting the distance I want now, just need to adjust the ball position now to get the sweet spot everytime.

I had my mizuno jpx irons reshafted with aerotech i-80 earlier this year, and can attest to how stable they are and how good they feel. Certainly recommend it to anyone who's considering graphites for their irons!

Mr Ng, despite the same specs, I think he towers you by a foot...

Since they GIR most of the time, hence I dun think they need the progressive weights on the shaft like me.
