| I am new to golf. Just finished my basic course (Learnt from Zero since May 2012). Happy to have just received my PC. During the basic couse, I got myself a full set of Taylor Made Burner Golf Club. So far I have only been once only to JB for my very 1st time 18 holes Golf Course experience last Sunday. Really enjoyed on the green. Eager to achieve Handicap status in few months, so need to go ranges very often and Green to gain experience. Hope to be able to join some kakis at ranges and green outing. | |

| Hi bryanachong, I had visited Bishan, OCC and Punggol ranges so far. So far, among the 3 ranges, OCC is the best range that I visited, being automatic in dispense balls.
Hi JonDoe, Rooster is just a nick, I chose it as I was born during Year of Rooster. Can call me ‘’Ong’’.
Hi blong, Good to hear that you are looking to have game for night golf (maybe can try Marina Bay). Me too will participate if timing is right for weekdays. Do take note that I am a beginner with very lean experience. Let me know.
Hi hkhamateur, jeffman88, pippin & sean76, Thanks for the welcome, and I hope to gain more knowledge in this new game, guidance to the path to get handicap index for the next aim. I also look forward to have some kakis for golf game at ranges and on green.
Cheers | |

| Hi Hardrock and Bogeyman72. Thanks for the warm welcome.
Hi lwn1923, I took out the offer in Deal.com.sg which happened to offer a Group of 6 to 8 students for 8 hours lessons. It is cheap but it was not good as the attention from the coach was not much. I got to make sure I got full attention given when he was around to correct the mistake. Back home got to watch youtube for add on knowledge of basic correct hand grip, standing position, body position, back swings posture, head posture and what to do during swing and finishing swing etc. Then got to go back to range to do extra practice between lesson for the feel of these little essential knowledge.
I would not advise to sign up with a big group for lessons. It will be good to sign up Maximun of 2 person to a reliable and reputable coach which will cost about $450 to $500 each for 10 lessons. Heard that JCC got a coach Mr Lin Kian Boon who is good, you may want to try it out. I personally have not try, but I may engage him for correction on a short course.
