What's up with Body Contour? I have been getting lots of calls from their telemarketing agents and it has become a nuisance.

It is really getting onto my nerves. BC is the worst of all with their agressiveness and i will get a few calls from them every week. Are they that desperate for business?

Sorry for the rant and wondering if there is any way we can stop them from calling besides blocking the number.

No leh, i don't need their service but they just don't give up. And every time it was a different agent who called.

Sounds like your number is posted on some list that is circulating their office.

Suggest that you tell them that you'll report them for harassment if they don't stop. I think there is some rule which banks and telemarketers have to follow where they can't call you without their permission, so you can actually make a police report.

Police report? Will our police force even entertain? Or can we file a report with CASE?

So far, I have received calls from different land line numbers and am blocking the most recent one. Any bros here also getting calls from them regularly and have taken actions?

They did call me before. I was out of range and saw a string of missed calls after getting back to Singapore.

I was worried that the call is urgent and I called back only to hear...

"Good Afternoon SIRRRRRRR,...."

Many cheap telemarketers are engaged these banks, service providers to poach new business.

Really gets on my nerve as there were many times I have to go out of my way just to get a signal and call back only to know they are from call centers....

Worse bit is when I told them I am working (note that I work in a very loud environment), they will reply..

"Please SIRRRRR, it will only take 2 minutes of your time SIRRRRRR.... "

But you have to give it to them.. they're hungry... we may find them irritating but I admire their determination and persistence (or some call it insistence)

My name on blacklist.. only bank call to ask if I want to borrow $. Then when I ask them to lend more.. they say cannot..

this is out from my list of ways to counter telemarketers...

1. "if not free, i dont want." (it won't work against BC.)

2. "if never give me money, I dont want."

3. "No. It is not convenient right now. I am running a marathon right now." *add heavy breathing*

4. "No. It is not convenient right now. I am having sex right now." *add heavy breathing*

5. "No. It is not convenient right now. I am getting oral gratification right now." *add random pause inbetween sentence.*

6. "Can I have your personal handphone number and I will call you right back?"

(this one is interesting. It can develop many ways.)

6a. "If you do not like strangers calling you, then what makes you think I like strangers calling me?"

6b. "Ok. Fine. If it is not company policy to give me your number then how about if I be your friend? You got facebook? You can give friends your number correct?"

I wish I am rich. Seems like they are barking up the wrong tree. Should have called you instead. Laguna member somemore. Want me to give them your number?

Tell the telemarketer that the person he is looking for is in the shower and put on hold as long as you can
