| Indeed. Asian are better these few years and many more years to come. Mainly they are Calmer and ability to hold their nerves. The killer instinct. | |

| The American women golfers on tours are not mentally strong enough to win compare to the Koreans ... The former lacks killer instinct ... Annika at one time commented that Michelle Wie has a beautiful golf swing but lacks the mental ability to win ... Sad to say that ... | |

| Then why didn't it translate to success on the PGA tour too?
Korean ladies golfers more calm / killer instinct than American ladies golfers?
Or American men golfers mentally stronger than Korean men golfers?
There may be some relation to the Korean girls junior golf program or American guys junior program that was done right. Are they doing anything different for their boys folders in korea ? Vice versa
I just feel that I find it hard to generalise. Each generation is different. Golf is such an individual sport. I think we ought a recognise them as individuals who happened to be of a certain gender type in a certain country.
Just MHO

| I think the title should be changed to Are Far East Asian Golfers Better?
Only three ( 3 ) countries have been posing Big Big threats to American & European LPGA.
Namely, China, South Korea and Taiwan. and not some Asian Pro Golfers.
The key to their success are: Hard Work, Hard Work , and Hard Work!
while most young ladies prefer to goto Malls and maybe to the beach,
Koreans and their Far East neighbors have been practicing.
Quite boring when you do it everyday and day & night!

| The american ladies spending too much time dolling themselves up (and for their sponsors) eg wie, creamer, gulbis etc.
Based on past world#1, most of them are average looking eg sorenstam, Ochoa, tseng etc
These American girls need to re-think their career plans.

| Can't agree more...
MWie red hairdo and her dangling earrings were total turn off the last time I saw her play...
Perhaps it's the culture of Asians, they tend to be more reserved and quiet..
But, I wonder, and if anybody has any stats, to compare the number of hours the girls put in on their games comparatively...
