being able to advance the ball forward is probably 50% of what is required in handicap test, the other 50% is being able to observe course etiquette, eg rake the bunker after you get in there, and filling your divots, and not talking or disturbing your flight mates when they are playing. bring your divot tools otherwise will have to buy. Have fun and good luck on your test!

From my test the last time, the tester told us, they were looking for for etiquette and how you take care of the course rather than your playing because they know most of the takers cannot play that well. But of course you cannot make too many mistake as well. My flight got a player retook the test, because 1st time, 5 OB. So the tester ask him retake. Btw good choice would be tee off with 3 wd rather than driver, which is what I did. Anyway best of luck.

Sound like HC test is similar to PC test. Will the tester be more strict on the total strokes used to complete the course?

PC test is normally by your coach, so usually is a bit of sure pass thing. HCP is by maybe the golf club committee members, so you can fail.

Some basic golf rules must know like where ob, flag colour, penalty how many stroke, how to drop ball, how to mark ball on green and basic golf etiquette. Good luck

Stress Relief before HC Test Smile

1. Back straight, knees bent, feet shoulder width apart.
2. Form a loose grip.
3. Keep your head down.
4. Avoid a quick back swing.
5. Stay out of the water.
6. Try not to hit anyone.
7. If you are taking too long, please let others go ahead of you.
8. Don't stand directly in front of others.
9. Quiet please ... while others are preparing to go.
10. Don't take extra strokes.

Now, that's very good. Flush the urinal, go outside, and tee off.
