After storm damage, fans and marshalls were not allowed on the course while the debris was cleaned up. So the players were by themselves pretty much with hardly any gallery.
Tiger seemed to concentrate better under these quiet conditions. He started the day with birdie on the first hole, and would go on to birdie Holes 3, 6, 10 as well.

In the final round of the 2012 AT&T National, Tiger Woods hits the green with his 182-yard second shot from behind a tree near the fairway on the par-4 12th hole and would go on to make par.

| Tiger's winning % is tremendous this year. With the exception of majors, he seemed to have the knack of walking away with a W each time he tees up Let's see how he fairs for The Open championship | |

| Up to hole 14, Tiger tied with Bo Van Pelt. Here what happened after the hole 14 and how Tiger won;
No. 15, Par 4, 490 yards
Tiger and Van Pelt have both seemed to settle in and realize that the first mistake will likely cost the other the championship, so they are playing par golf.
• Off the tee: Tiger takes 5-wood and blisters it right up the middle, twirling his club as he goes down to pick up his tee. Van Pelt also finds the fairway with 3-wood.
• Approach shot: From 152 yards, Tiger takes 9-iron into a swirling wind and lands it in the middle of the green and it rolls out to the right, leaving himself about 20 feet for birdie. Meanwhile, Van Pelt plays a fantastic shot to about eight feet.
• On the green: With a little right-to-left action, Tiger buries the putt, with the ball barely making it to the cup and sending the huge crowd into a frenzy. Van Pelt matches Tiger's birdie with one of his own to keep the tie atop the leaderboard.
TIGER ON THE DAY: 3 under (thru 15 holes; 9 under for tournament)
No. 16, Par 5, 579 yards
With Van Pelt and Tiger trading birdies on No. 15, they both step up to the easiest hole on the course, but accuracy off the tee will be crucial.
• Off the tee: Van Pelt hammers a driver up the left side of the fairway, while Tiger tries to cut his drive over a fairway bunker, but finds the left rough instead.
• Second shot: From 260 yards, Tiger has a tough lie and takes pitching wedge up the right-hand side and leaves himself a nice angle into the pin for his third shot. Van Pelt takes 6-iron and comes short and in a greenside rough.
• Approach shot: Tiger makes his first big mistake, taking his wedge shot too deep and off the back of the green and down the slope. It will be a tough up-and-down. Van Pelt helps Tiger by playing a very sloppy chip shot that doesn't clear the bunker and stays in the long rough.
• Fourth shot: Van Pelt compounds his previous error with a chip shot that runs about 10 feet past the flag. Tiger hits the pin with his fourth shot, but runs about 14 feet past.
• On the green: Tiger makes his first bogey in 42 holes, missing the par attempt high and tapping in a 2-incher. Van Pelt also burns the edge, missing to the left and also drops a shot to remain tied.
No. 17, Par 4, 437 yards
Van Pelt and Tiger remained tied for the lead despite bogeys at the 16th. Tiger has three pars at the 17th this week.
• Off the tee: Van Pelt finds the left rough at the shorter par 4, while Tiger takes 5-wood up the right side of the fairway and finds the intermediate cut of rough, but should have a nice angle to the flag.
• Approach shot: From 172 yards, Tiger takes 8-iron and hits the very front of the green and gets no roll, leaving himself with about a 45-foot putt to the hole. Van Pelt gets out of the rough, but flies the green and goes into the long rough, leaving a tough up-and-down.
• Around the green: Van Pelt has to play a flop and it lands hard and runs off the green and into the intermediate cut about 15 feet in front of the hole. Tiger hits a chip from his spot at the front of the green and it runs to about 6 feet under the hole.
• On the green: Van Pelt plays his second chip to about two feet to the left of the pin and makes that for bogey. Tiger drains his par putt to take a one-shot lead to the final hole.
No. 18, Par 4, 523 yards
Tiger takes a one-shot lead into the very difficult par 4, with the tee shot critical for both Woods and Van Pelt. Tiger has parred this hole each day.
• Off the tee: Tiger pulls driver, which he has not had a lot of success with today. But he chooses a perfect time to hit his best of the day, lacing it up the right side and is sitting pretty for his approach shot. Van Pelt also hits the fairway with his tee ball, but now has to be thinking he'll need to birdie.
• Approach shot: Tiger outdrove Van Plet by a good margin, so Van Pelt hits his approach first, taking aim from 220 yards and hits the green, but is well shot and lands in the first cut of greenside rough. Tiger has 188 yards left and takes 9-iron, and starts walking after his ball as soon as he makes impact, playing a beautiful shot to about 12 feet left of the pin.
• On the green: Van Pelt nearly holes out his chip shot from the fringe, but it runs about eight feet past. Leaving Tiger with two putts to win after that miss, Tiger gives his birdie try a nice run, but it settles three inches to the left and he taps that in to win his third PGA Tour title of the year.
TIGER ON THE DAY: 2 under (thru 18 holes; 8 under for tournament)
I just think that Van Plet played well but just did not manage the pressure as good as Tiger

| Thanks for that post, Pak Slicer51. It read like a John Grisham novel, I enjoyed it.
I think now golf will get 'boring' again. As in, the tournaments results will be predictable, all depending on Tiger's form. If he's on, he'll win. If he's off, he won't win. 1 or 0. Black or white. On or off. Very digital. The tougher the course, the more emphatically Tiger can wrap things up when he is on. That's why he likes fast greens and tough courses.

| Maybe playing with Tiger is too much pressure for Van Plet. Rather than the other way round. Because Tiger is so used to be playing under such condition. | |

.... You r welcome bro Lee, I just mainly copy & paste but it nice to see someone down so much and manage to pick it up again. It is not east at all. Tiger is not young, I hope to see better younger player that can match his record soon in my life time.

Honestly I doubt so, people like tiger come out once every 20-30 years, Nickalaus waited almost 20 years to see Tiger.

Yes, I still remember a American friend told me before, when I asked "Why Tiger can play so good?". He says " The different is the pressure between Tiger and other ". Million dollar to the winner is allot for avg pro player. Tiger already has many millions in his Bank account .. It is not the money he is looking for . He just want to win ...
