Hi guys! I hope i could get real good tips and probably finally hit a golf ball with a proper swing! Help!! Thanks in advance!!!

Hi santmr55,

Welcome to GR! I believe it's better to engage a coach, can teach you the proper swing and spot your problem immediately rather than picking up bad habit and injury.

Hey Sean76!

Thanks for the reply! I did before the golf school in Bishan taught by an Australian "Pro" who didn't really do much but talk while he amuses me to keep on hitting the balls.

I guess, I know the basics already but need a lot of improvements in terms of the long irons, woods and driver. I do well on my wedges and short irons but only that.

Where do you play?

I also did my beginner at bishan under another school, now doing self practice. Mainly mbgc and sometime bishan (balance credits)

Plan to visit a few 9 holes / par3 course before engaging intermediate course/HCP.

Thanks for the warm welcome! Yes! Will definitely need help along the way…at the moment will need some range practice time, so when i meet any of you i wont be that embarrassing hahaha!

Will need all of the above mate, let me know i actually stay near Bukit Batok there's a nearby driving range but i may not require formal schooling. Last time i used to pay a certain uy $40 bucks to coach me on my swing. But i did stopped playing when i got posted overseas some 2 years back. Havent played since…

Or if you okay self-learning, you can always try to evaluate your swing via the video camera..won't cure everything...but at least you become more self aware...

I'm newbie too.

Going to finish the basic course this weekend..

Hopefully can find some tips and lobang in places to go golfing..
