| Hi all,
Can anyone advice is it possible to golf alone at batam or jb on sat morning? Which means 1 ball flight. Will I get rejected or force to join other flight? Can I indicate to have one ball flight?

Cause my kaki current not free preparing for exam till nov. And base on my skill, I am not fit to join any of the flight here. So planning to go alone till I become lion wood...Next time u can call me lion wood haaaaaaa

| Clubhouse is a bit aged, course & green condition satisfactory... caddies are friendly... not many golfers on weekends, rarely are we hurried when we play there
http://www.teringbay.com.sg/main.php
Bookings best done via email sales@teringbay.com.sg
SGD120/- per ball (all-in, including ferry, buggy, green fees, etc...except tips for caddy), same for both Sat/Sun morning
But bro enwee is right, dun golf alone.... good things are best to be shared

| yup... designed by greg norman... many many bunkers on all 18 holes, esp around the greens... have to be precise with your scoring irons...
toughest in Batam? I have not tried all the golf courses in Batam so I can't say it is the toughest... for some holes, the fairways are quite wide while for some, they are narrow.... terrain is rather flat though for most holes...
I find the 9 hole palm course @ palm springs more challenging - enwee wrote:

| 2 reasons I know so far that golf cannot be played alone. Everyone is welcome to add more...... 1) golf was invented to be played by 4 persons. Friendship lah......... 2) Got HIO, how? Who will believe you / verify for you? | |

| 3) If your wayward shot hit someone, you can always point the finger to your flight mates | |

| I played one ball in palm springs before..they even had a promotion to have a pro to play with me. can ask for playing tips for 18 holes, pretty good deal. this was 2 yrs ago though. the caddy helps to teach course management, how to rake the bunker, how to repair pitch mark/divot, how to drop balls etc etc
play by yourselves is OK until you're confident. thereafter join GRians lah. many beginners in the same situation. we all started out as faceless nicknames, then we joined GR games. now many people know each other well.

| no need to goto JB for single ball!
if weekday, can try green fairways or mandai executive course!
can use it to improve your short game...which is very impt for scoring!
