Can you really stripe your driver 250m? Is your 9 iron really going 150m? Check out this article:

Just use a range finder lor

But let me add this, diff launch monitors give different readings. I "drive" a tad longer on flightsope than on trackman. But my drives are longest on gc2 foresight monitors. This machine is an ego booster hahaha

The mbgc gps on buggies are pretty darn accurate if u wanna measure your driving distances. Don't forget to factor wind Razz

Interesting read

recently i chanced upon this link and it takes your average 5 iron distance and extrapolate what is your distance with your other clubs like driver down to your wedges

before they calculate, they ask for your built, what is your shot shape, etc...

http://www.csgnetwork.com/golfclubdistancecalce.html

but i guess the weakest link is if you LIE about your 5 iron distance, then the distance calculated by this tool will also LIE!

just re-using the word used by MyGolfSpy.... Razz

Interesting. It's actually quite accurate.

Gives a whole new meaning to 'adjusting your lie'. Great read though and thanks for the post.

Whao.... interesting post...I actually suffer from quite the opposite... I tell everyone my drives average <200m (which is true, if you take all my sliced, topped, duffed, hook drives into the equation), but everyone says I drive more than that and refuse to give me strokes Sad

For a second, I wondered why I'm not hitting a thousand yards..... Only to realised that I'd keyed in an extra zero!

Still, its relatively accurate. Better to underestimate than to overestimate.
