| Anyone tried these golf shoes? Any reviews on comfort, grip and will these studs last as long as the traditional ones? These shoes looked alike but price is around $50 difference...
Thanks in advance for your advice...

FJ Contour Casual http://www.footjoy.com/catalog/productview.asp?c=339 I got adicross, quite good but as i said before in bunker not much grip especially after rain. The FJ one, I saw also, the sole look a bit like the Ecco Biom. The only thing among all these new no spike shoes is the adidas is the cheapest and hence is not leather.

| Better to stick with traditional golf shoes if your golf swing fundamentals are not there. | |

| i agree with duffadder:it is better to stick to shoes with spikes.
Having tried both shoes, in fact I have worn most of the recent spikeless ones, and although the traction for the spikeless shoes are ok, but it is usually not that great if the ground is wet.
Golf digest recently ranked the spikeless shoes. The link below:

For me, my fave pair is the previous generation FJ Casual Contours. You can probably get it for about $140, and it is probably the shoe with the most cushioning I have ever worn, including running shoes. The reason is due to the thick insole and I often use this same insole in other shoes. It also has spikes so you can also swop out the spikes when they are worn out. Only problem with this shoe is that it is quite high off the ground.

Totally agreed with that. Spikeless shoe is bad for wet ground.

| Traditional golf shoes are still the best especially if you are hitting from a sloping lie. you will need the spikes for gripping. The latest golf shoes that are similar to casual shoes. in my opinion they are more suited for driving range.
not so much on the green.
i swear by Adidas 360.....

| I like Adidas 360 too. It's a pity I bought a size that is half size bigger... I feel its too loose despite tying it tight....had stopped wearing it liao
I'm using a FJ contour BOA now...It's good but not as comfy as 360

| I have a pair of Adicross which I wear on and off the course. Quite frankly, i feel that the grip is good enough even on wet days. Maybe my swing isn't fast enough to make me loose balance. My suggestion is to buy half size bigger and the shoes width is quite narrow. | |

| I do like my Adicross but on course, my Adipure is great on grip also the spikes had been so lasting that so far the wear is minimum. | |

| I too recently bought of a pair of Adicross - my first Adidas and also spikeless shoe (wearing FJ all the while).
Played only one full 18H with them so far and they felt good (like i am wearing my tennis shoes all day). In fact at end of game, my feet felt less fatigue and it was much better than my FJs.
It was a dry day so I can't comment on the 'slippery when wet' syndrome shared by many.

| Btw the high end of FJ look a bit like uncle leh, not so fashionable unlike Adidas or Puma. | |
