Lemon Law

Lemon Law comes into effect in Singapore Sep 2012...

1. Does this affect the golf industry? especially equipment
2. What about our own GR Marketplace? Does private transactions apply?

Just wondering what your thoughts or interpretations of this law is...

Good post..

Just had a personal experience....

Went to a shop to buy the ZL.

Asked for R flex as recommended by a fitter at Bishan range.

Bought it, unfortunately my drives started to miss the airplanes by inches... Shocked

Went to our friend at Keppel range...

He checked and realized the flex was even softer than Men's R... Almost women's R.. Shocked

Changed shaft and it's much better now... A friend insisted that I should go back to the shop and ask for exchange or a change to S flex...

Didn't do it as I feel it's not the fault of the shop, perhaps the manufacturer... Also, am not a confrontational person... Just blaming my stupidity... But this friend insisted I should..

So how?

Is this part of the Lemon Law ?? Rolling Eyes

I see no difference between a car and a golf club if both are lemons. Law should apply IMO.

chien FYI there is no standard for shaft flex for the market

big makers shaft states the flex just for show non are as per printed some print S flex may varies to LL flex

makers aren't hold acountable for the correct flex stated
