Hi Noonan,
take a look at the feet (lower core within the yellow box). the before is that the heel are always lift up. where as the after the feet is planted into the ground. this would reduce chances of topping the ball when hitting it.

The problem is I lost my left shoe after hitting the ball.... just kidding.
I could top the ball. When I tried to compensate by hitting down, I hit it fat. What a pain. By footing the left foot, it improves the ball contact. Having said that, once in a while I still forget to correct it.
The point here is that I don't even notice the fault before that myselft. The video analysis does help a lot.

i agree with noonan. The swings look same same. I dont know much, I just learning too but i think the foot come up for a reason such as shaft in steep on downswing. Did tendy fix the cause or just put band aid on it. If a band aid fix, the problem will come back imho

The video looks very small. I was there and saw the bigger video size. Tendy just placed a couple of sheet of paper below Vic's sole. That hold up Vic from jumping while hitting the ball. Quite obvious there, just pay attention at his feet/sole.

Well, that's a quick fix. Who say that he has to bring papers to green ? It's a matter of practice and practice to eliminate bad habits....

sometimes it is just ingraining a habit with some aids...just like tiger wood loosen his grip on putter cos butch put a buzzer on it. In the tourny, definitely no buzzer...
But for practice it works...
drills and actual playing is different. Drills you have everything to remind you how to swing. But at the game, you should be just going there and swing without thinking.
Pros also use a lot of stuff such as alignment sticks etc... doesn't mean they cannot swing without them

One thing for sure.. i have seen alot of my friends with their game improving after they went to Tendy.... generally... hitting well on the driving range doesn't mean you will hit well on the course....
Aside to Smails... maybe you can organise a game made up of 1 team of RSS and 1 team from Tendy.. that will be fun. If you need a team of TSS students, we can arrange that too.

Makes me wanna go walk over to the driving range now and meet up with Matt Denzer. I could be known to be in the same team as Greg Norman and Denis Watson.
Or I can wait for Shorthitter to call me up for the SC trip to HH. Maybe pick up a lesson with Hank Haney so I can be also known as being in the same team as Tiger Woods and Mark O'Meara.

Smails, i suggest you cool it a bit. Every swing has some merits and while you may do great on rss doesnt mean all other swings are wrong. It is no point even mentioning scott or quincy. It means nothing. Nobody even want to go that route. Surely you do not want others to use the same argument that the world top few players are not rss so rss is worse than traditional swing?
We can all debate until the cows gone home and this will never end. Tendy is just helping out here and just like rsc has you as strong advocate, Tendy has his own supporters that swear by him. It will do the forum no good by hijacking other pros thread and criticising as others have been gentlemanly enough to leave rsc threads alone.
I strongly urge mutual respect. Rsc had obviously done gd thing for you. Great stick with it. If Tendy's coaching doesn't impress you, just walk away. No need to go into argument. Obviously his method works for many and there are other members who are keen to see his coaching style and tips.
Every coach uses training aids be it a band aid or video. No one will say no video how you play on course right? Don't be overly critical of other's coaching method. I had seen top pga teachers suggest aids on golfdigest before. Are we saying they are crap? Obviously no right?
I think i have said enough. Appearing overly fanatic will make you few friends and may even do your coach a disfavour if this lead to quarrels.
Respect is the key.

Tendy, sorry for the delay in posting this but would like to thank you for the clinic. Jarod and myself both enjoyed the clinic and learned a good deal and different way to approach to hitting the ball.
