| I cant use a 4.5 or 7, so got to contend with 9.5 or 10.5. Question is one? How do you know which one if right for you? All the while, I am using a 9.5, the ball flight is neither too higher or too low. I am thinking testing 10.5.
What your advice on trying a 10.5? Does it makes any difference at all?

| I've tried both a 9.5 and 10.5. To be honest, I liked the 9.5. Gave me good distance. I had that on my R9. Obviously, you get less height but greater roll (as compared to a 10.5, with the same swing).
I ended up with a 10.5 on my Launcher. I like it. Decent distance, decent height. Why the 10.5, they didn't have a 9.5 and I felt that the 10.5 was a little more forgiving.

| In my very humble opinion, rather than believe what stamped on the head , get the actual loft measured .. a 9.5 could actually be a 10.5 .. I saw 2 nice heads at you know where and when measured seems to of a slightly higher loft .... the shaft also play a important role ... and now with Trackman , the choices is made easier after the data is shown ... i could be wrong here , so take it with a pinch of salt as i also just learning ...

| for driver loft, there is also the question of CG and the design of the driver...
for example, if you use a deeper face model like the superquad and a shallow face like the burner 07. you will find that the SQ 10.5 promotes about the same trajectory as the burner 9.5.
Why? the CG of both clubs are different and the design of the SQ is meant to sustain a steeper angle of attack while the burner is meant for a more neutral angle of attack.
and you are right Mr Lam, we are now seeing figures that we cannot find and the trackman is indeed a very good tool.

| i m using the old cleveland hibore XL 10.5 (well, that's the option they have when i purchase it)
i feel tht my ball flight is very high... but no other choice at the moment. when i try to deloft the driver, cant even swing it... sigh....
so it is some how true we can hit the ball further with the same swing but a lesser loft club rite? (provided the equip stays the same)

DGman DGman, Is the observation applies for all type of clubs i.e. the Titleist range i.e. 909 D1 - D3?
