| Hello,
I got the follow message from a car forum and thinking of sharing ...
last weekend, after our golfing, we went sentosa(JB) to have our lunch. when we reached the place, it was crowded as usual. total we have six cars. all my friends managed to park their car along the road side. while for me, i managed to find a lot behind one of the shop houses. both of us need to walk quite distance to the food stall to meet the rest of them. after the meal, it was about 1400HR. all of us decided to go back sing. two of us went back to my car. while i was closing the door to start the engine, suddenly there was one chinese man blocked the door and asked for money. on the other side, as my friend had already locked the door, there was another man standing there waving at him. on my side, these man mentioned that they were from the AID society and got AID and need money to eat. so i gave him 20rigt. he told me not enough. then i told him that i have no more money. all of the sudden, he took out one needle and pointed at me and mentioned that the needle had AID virus. my friend asked him to relax and took out 100 rigt and gave him. after they took the $$, they ran off. i intended to chase them, but my friend told me to forget it. the thing i wanted to share here is that: 1) never park your car in the isolated area, even in the day time 2) for golfers, try to have your meal in the club house and then go straight back to sing 3) never go to JB alone
one more thing i would like to ask you guys' opinions: if you were me in this situation what will you do... give them the money or whack them? FYI, the two chinese guys are not big size.
Copy and paste from FD forum. For bros that frequent across the causeway frequently.
The needle could be fake for all we know but i will still shit in my pants if this happens to me.

| No point taking the risk la. They really just want money and have no intention to hurt anyone i think. So 100 ringgit is a cheap lesson learnt anyway.
Something similar happened to my friend too: the guy had a needle to him and my friend offered some money. 50ringgit. The guy said not enough and asked for more. My friend had no more money on him so he offered him some coins, at which point the guy said 'im not a begger'
Funniest thing is my friend show him his wallet and he really din't have anymore money, so the guy asked my friend for some cigarettes and said "why you bring so little money to jb?next time bring more!' and he ran off.
hahaa wth right?

| I heard this before too. Also at sentosa. Maybe the group is always there to extort money. Too many chinese and singaporeans means gd money. But then, maybe all the stories are the same incident retold and twisted so there is only one isolated case.
Btw, i heard similar story in sg too, way before it happened in jb.

| Thanks for sharing ! Yes !.......It happen to me and my family...... Years back... Me and my parents and my brother was robbed at NEEDLE Point, but not in sentosa but at the Shell Station near JB custom...we was pumping petrol than my brother (Judo black belt) and my father fren's former Fireman (San Chee Do master) when behind to used the toliet. Out came two man holding needle fill with blood...they asked for money and i could see my brother and my dad fren getting to strike them down. I quickly push RM100 to them and they quickliy fled the scene. Moral of the story....if confronted by these Jokers....don't fight them, just push money to them, take it as a contribution to Malaysian Society lor. We, old Boys Club always avoid big city , we go places for food where got local guide ( Steffan and Ah Lim ) Pray for a safe journey before departure ! Be Safe, Not Sorry ! Don't fight just give money to them ! | |
