| The worst maintained golf club I've ever been to. There's fallen leaves everywhere. Fairway feels like rough. Greens are slow. Bunkers have lots of rocks and stones. I think they only maintain the 1st 2 holes on the course.
The showers are the cowboy style with only the swing-type doors blocking the middle. Some people commented it is quite eerie.
And also, the name sounds like Mandai...

| No robbery. Just don't leave valuables in locker. Daiman mgmt think short of fund..utilities such as hot water took quite a while to resume suuply, also recently aircon in changing room down Condition wise..sometimes good..sometimes bad, depends on weather and crowd. If u expect SG golf course's green & fairway..dun waste your time. Bunker is ... HARD!!! Can literally chip/putt from bunker easily. Expect to skull e ball if u use normal bunker shot technic. We frequent this course bcos it's cheap..and public course, no booking required. Not crowded, too. And ..buggy on track..rain or shine.. Course maybe short, with only a few holes considered "long" but not easy course due to narrow fairway and many hazards. | |

| try Octville instead, better condition greens and fairways (quite near Daiman 18) Weekday promo only ~ RM$51 nett per ball including buggy. They give coupon for complimentary buggy after 5 times play 18 holes - tom201296 wrote:

And yes . . . the Chinese Restaurant there serves very nice food !! Hi, I am a season member at Daiman 18, i like the place as it is conveniently near JB town, like golfmania say a good training ground. Food is also reasonbly priced. Robberies can happen anywhere if you are not alert but is common near Tebrau so beware. Whether cow grass, dry leaves, bald patch is part and parcel of the golf course. You need to learn to work around it, although it is short. It is important to lay up and not attack as you will be punish with penalty strokes. Feel free to pm me if you wanna have a go at Daiman 18. cheers lt | |

| I frequent Daiman.. Almost every Saturday, 730-8am tee-off. Condition is really not so good. But a cheap place to play. Indeed Shower room aircon is not working for almost a month. Once, I encounter shower NO WATER! Indeed a good training ground bah. lots of water hazard.. and approach to green mus be very careful. Overshot will end up in a very bad place usually. Wat I hate is the bunker.. Machiam hitting on solid ground. Another thing I hate is that there are too many blind spots.. (dog leg & slope up & down) You hit it straight & beautiful, knowing it must be on fairway but still, you need some time to look for it. I like the food there. Nice.. seafood fried rice with sunny side up. | |
