Hi All,
As a new arrival in SG, can anyone advise the following:
If I but new clubs from the US and have them shipped to SG, what if any taxes will I pay when they arrive here?

Only GST(7%) u have to worry about, but my personal experience is that hey seldom tax u for personal items.

if the seller declares the values above $400, GST applies.

True, but it also depends on how vigilant ICA is. I've heard of situations where they've missed the amount and allowed goods to pass when they exceed the $400 trigger.

That said, if you're subject to GST, you'll need to pick the item up from ICA and pay for tax.

I've have plenty of stuff past the $400 mark (I'm not suggesting under declaring) and so far, I have been lucky. Razz
