the other benefit of getting the 1st of 500 series (apart from the vanity of owning a limited edition scotty), is that it comes with heavier weights. mine is a sea mist 34inches with 2 x 20 gram weights (instead of the usual 15g).

of this this is assuming u prefer it a bit heavier.

then again, the cheaper option would be to buy a 33 inch, then extend it to 34 inch.

I would like to ask why this line was slated for 1st April launch but there isn't a retailer that has these putters till next week?

Wanted to buy 1 and have pretty much called all Pan West, Golf House and even the PI outlets today but nada.

Anyway, bought a couple of SM4s from Vinc yday. Really great compared to the previous CC version.

Hi S7OB,

Apologies for the late reply, we seem to have missed this one. Sorry to hear you were unable to get hold of one of the putters as early as you would have liked. A lot of the time this will be to do with when the product is shipped to the shops. We have a schedule in place as obviously its difficult to get to every shop on the same day. For those shops who purchase to a central location, they then often need some time to distribute the product to all of their own shops. The launch date reflects the date from which these shipments begin, and as such, as you've found out, may not mean the product is in every shop from that date.
