Wah....not sure why, but I get very excited when there is a game plan...maybe becos I clock only max 2 games per month.

1st thing: check clubs..make sure all of them there
2nd: check ball....decide if use 2nd ball or need to use brand new Nxt
3rd: Prep talk..to the team (aka clubs).....with specific instruction to capt (aka putter) and vice capt (aka driver)
4th: pack power bar and shoes
5th: Get ready to rock and roll

....Duval ( Prince of Bad to Worse)

I roll about 30 putts on my putting mat beside my bed, put on my skins, then sleep....

next morning wait for alarm clock to ring at 5am.... Rolling Eyes

yes, i still consider myself newbie.... always excited for a game, and forever need improving
many a time only sleep for 2-3 hrs... (coz go drink the nite b4... lolz)

my norm prep,

1) check tht all my clubs/balls/tees/shoes are there
2) prep clothes to wear n for changing
3) confirm timing n decide what time to rch course (normally 20min b4 tee time)
4) make sure enuff $$$ to lose if betting is included

woahh.. normally guys are not so well-prepared, but looks like it is a whole different story for golf. everyone takes GOLF very SERIOUSLY.. Very Happy

what i do is.. i call my "alarm clock" to wake me up the next morning..

Ha, this is true man....

Remember last game in JB, supposedly to wake up at 5am but too excited cannot sleep and woke up at 4am. Coz this game had been planned long ago and got special permission from my other half to excuse for the PH....

For work, yes, will sure sleep longer........

haha, i like the "team prep talk" part. Maybe shld follow suit so the team will perform better. Then after 1st half (1st nine), give changing room talk and kick a boot at the 'poor performer' to give warning to the rest. - ferguson style Idea

If there is a morning game in which I have to wake up around 6am, I will usually woke up 2-3 hrs before 6am and will end up watching TV while waiting for the alarm to ring.

I've played the game for 9 yrs and I am still excited about each game. Sad

In terms of what I do the night before, nothing special really. Pack my clothings, golf items, etc.

Here is what I do the night before game Empty

1. Set 2 alarm clocks - just in case, one failed me
2. Try out my golf outfit - to make sure it is still fitting and colour is matching
3. Boil extra water...need to fill up 2 X 1.5 litre bottle of water
4. Pack extra clothing for change after game
5. Ensure extra towel, toiletries are being packed
6. Ensure golfing vouchers. golf card are inside my bag
7. Remove all valuables inside my bag
8. Remove extra cash from the purse...it is not safe to carry lots of cash and leave the bag in the buggy while you are unable to watch it all the time. My handbag was taken by the monkey once and it was such a horrified experience for me.
9. Decide the clubs to be used...count if it is less than 14 units.
10. Try to get some beauty sleep...most of the time I can't !!! Too excited to play Razz
