I was told that Deepavali Holidays falls on 18 October ???? My GF told me so.....it her turn i bring her to.....But on most Calender falls on 15 November ???!!!

Yup Deepavali is on 17th Oct this year... which is a Saturday. Which means no extra public holiday!!

it's either one day extra to your annual leave or some will take OFF IN LIEU either in advance on that Friday or the following Monday 19 Oct ! : )

Not always, unfortunately. Depends on your company leave policy.

poor u if it's the co. that u r working 4 . perhaps u can get them to revised the policy haha so that u can get a long weekend break ... or extra day leave for more golf ...
