| I´m visiting Singapore for about a week in febrary and intend to play golf as our courses in Sweden is frozen at that time of the year. What is recommended for a week of playing in and around Singapore. Maybe stay and play? | |

| Well you can start with Marina Bay Golf course, nice sky line with links style course. Then opt for a play and stay at the Ria Bintan or head up north to johor courses for play and stay.

| Marina Bay is a good start and it's near the city. If you want something more challenging (hilly, narrow, dog-legs and water hazards), try Keppel. You can also do island hop, try Ria Bintan and Ian Baker Finch (Bintan Lagoon) on Indonesia's Bintan Island, and Palm Spring in Batam. The above should keep you occupied | |

| Hi! How's Singapore Island or Keppel? I have reciprocal arrangements with these clubs but have never played in Singapore before. Thanks! | |

| If you have reciprocal, play at SICC.
Skip Keppel. not worth your holiday here.

| Great - thanks for the tip. I went to the SICC website and there seems to be Bukit Course, Sime Course, Island Course, New Course and Milennium Course... Seems quite a lot of courses in 1 club.
What do you think is best in terms of (i) not so tight fairways and (ii) medium distance.
Thanks! | |

| And oh yeah - in my club, I can sometimes turn up as 1 ball and join a flight.
For SICC - would it be the same case or I have to find kakis first. Am planning to play weekday, but need to get license from wife first. Thanks!

| if SICC is your choice, go try the New Course, the only reason why they are the only club in SG with 4 courses is because you pay a big bomb for the membership there, plus the fact, they are quite exclusive
if weekdays and you are reciprocal member, i think no problems, they can partner you up
for Keppel, if you free, go try also since reciprocal, weekdays 1 ball no problem to partner up...
