These are the top 10 shots of 2011. All spectacular and mind-blowing, given the difficult circumstances.
I'll post a vote option once #2 and #1 are released. But for the moment, feast your eyes on these crazy shots. Really inspiring!

Speaking of water, I believe Bill Haas' shot will come in as #1.
This is just my guess

Tiger last putt for Chevron is top shot of 2011 for me.
2 year's of burden off with that one putt.

Every shot that I take with Muar Chee on the golf course is a top shot for me.

I vote for No.6 David Toms for now. Not only he had a good shot out of the divot but he also had a great drive and putt for that hole.

In my opinion, this is the #1. Not many including top PGA players able to pull that off ...

Steve Stricker for sure - from that lie in a bunker from that distance round trees past water...it's almost as if the golf course threw everything at him and he still hit the green, AND sank the putt.
Tiger pulled off a similar shot before and I thought only someone with his lower body strength can do it Apparently not.

A compelling and entertaining (and educational!) thread, thank you for posting.
Some was technically difficult. Some was mentally difficult.
Bubba Watson's massive fade with driver off the deck on a downhill lie was technically challenging.
Jarrod Lyle's hole-in-one in that stage-fright inducing performance anxiety nightmare of a stadium atmosphere, a triumph of matter over mind.
But, enter Steve Marino's shot.
Take 3 wood, off the fairway. Precision required.
3 wood, from the rough, usually impossible, typically not advisable.
3 wood, from the rough, ball on a slope at almost knee level, getting crazy now.
3 wood, from the rough, ball on a slope almost knee level, standing in a bunker? And hit the green for an eagle try? What is the size of the kahoonas required to even think to pull this of?
Very hard to top the degree of difficulty of this shot.
But for the $heer $take riding on the line, Bill Haa$' water $hot top$ the $ea$on, for obviou$ reason$. A combination of technical and mental difficulty.

Hard choice but I like bubba watson trying that shot. Nice pink driver shaft as well.

Added the best of the rest, i.e. those shots which were great but didn't make it into the Top 10
Enjoy!

Driver off the deck? 50 yards of slice??? Amazing shot.
Bubba is one of the most entertaining guys on tour. I love watching him play.
