| I have two friends who uses them because of the large volune cc head the 3 and 5 wood has.
I am not sure but I think they have the biggest head in the market. And it is quite forgiving.
Though the shaft length is shorter. If I remember the shaft length for 3 wood is just 42.5inch
Now if you asked me if its a good club. I would definitely say Yes if you know how to hit it. And it would be awfully hard to hit if you can't hit Fairway wood.
I have a friend who doesnt know how to used Fw and hybrid. He has a 1iron in his bag down to Sw.

| I am using the 13deg (2 wood) and 18deg (5 wood).
EXTREMELY FORGIVING... ideal for lousy golfers like me.
Compared to my previous TM R9, Titlelist 910, etc, this is the longest and most forgiving wood. Tons of roll (esp the 2 Wood, like a power putter). As long as you can make decent contact with the ball, it will fly, roll, roll and roll (to where is another question).
Good points: Easy to hit Tons of roll Great for teeing off and on level fairways
Bad points: Swing weight is a little light Not really for very high swing speeds (above 100mph on 2 wood) Useless on rough or on very uneven lie (because of its big head)

| Heard that torque and flex is pretty whippy even for Jap spec. Probably best to demo before purchase. Believe Transview at Orchid CC can wrap it up for you to test first. | |
