Putting Clinic - Putt like the Pros

Hi Paul,

Do consider organising it soon!.......Btw, how many pax rquired to start the clinic?

The next putting clinic is scheduled for Saturday 10th October from 9am - 11am

I have got something on that morning! Sigh.....I would sign up if there's an afternoon slot for 2 pax.. =)

Practiced some drills and I found some of these sensations interesting:
1. I found my head to be behind the ball. Seemingly staring down a line parallel to the putting line.
2. Left side of my neck is a little sore after a few putts.
3. Able to keep the putter head really low to the ground, but sometimes still "top" the ball. I'm no longer trying to hit the ball on the up swing.
4. Felt like I'm using my right tricep and right forearm muscles to putt because I'm restraining my shoulder movements

Let me know if these are the correct sensations. Thanks.

Good to see you have stuck with it and spent some time working it out on the putting green. All the sensations you speak of are correct except for No. 2. This may just be due to the fact your ball position is now more forward and you are looking at the ball more from behind it rather than on top. The muscles in your neck are not use to this position so you will need to do some stretching. It will feel ok next time. Just remember the fault you had was the long back swing and short follow thru. Keep focusing on this. Do the drills I gave you and the confidence and results will come.

I have changed some things in my schedule and have moved the clinic to 3pm on Saturday the 10th of October. Please confirm ASAP.

Hi Paul..........today's session was great and i had great insights to the 'art of putting'....specially like the part where you touched on how to approach the ball before you putt........hope to shave off some strokess tomorrow......thanks and do keep me updated on the chipping clinic..

It was great to meet you all. Yes the order of routine is very important for alignment and to overcome "parallax error" which is a problem for even the best players in the world. If you aren't aiming where you think, it won't go in!! I will let you know about the chipping clinic shortly.
