| Its one thing to be a golfer but to be certified club fitter, its another story. There's a lot of science and physics at work. I stick to playing and let Eric do all the thinking... | |

| Think its best if you can send your comments to SGA or SPGA if you feel so strongly about it, Smails.
Otherwise, I think its pretty good idea to have a structured program to attain a certification for club-fitting. | |

| dear golf_snowman,
all the club making modules from the grip (size, building up, regripping), to the extraction of shaft to installation (hosel and bore through), sw adjustments, frequency matching, ferrule finishing, repairs, loft and lie adjustments, etc....most of the technical stuff. after that it is practice, practice and practice.
the most difficult head to extract are the callaways with graphite top like the FT-5 but with practice taking out a head, while saving the shaft, can be done in under 8 minutes.
as for fitting, there are different evaluation platform. as we are moving to the TM, it is an entirely different platform and not many clubfitters use that at the moment so we are still updating our own knowledge base a the moment.
