anyone watch the game? 8-7, one of the lowest scoring finals in history. the blacks as might as they are, were almost put to shame by the french black horse

| Din put their best performance. But they hang on to win. A win is a win, regardless if its a lowest score or vice versa. Also, i dont think France should be considered as the dark horses. Afterall, they are the team accrediited to have knocked the Blacks out in 2 world cups. Both coming from behind, if i am not wrong.
For me, their best performance was in the semis against Australia.

| The French are an inconsistent side. They have really good individual players who can turn the game on it's head. I wasn't expecting a ride in the park for the All Blacks but when you have the whole country expecting you to win along with the so called 'chokers' tag, it's always going to be difficult.
You could say some of the All Blacks didn't step it on the big stage. But that's what pressure can do to you.Credit to the lads though. They defended fantastic the last 20min or so.Lot's of guts. They dug deep and held on.
Pretty stoked when Richie lifted the Cup. Proud of you boys. Though not a Kiwi, there's a lot of NZ in me.
Aweome lads. Aotearoa!

| I was from St.Andrew's ...still remember we did some form of the Haka war dance before the start especially against our main rival Raffles Instituition.
So glad that the All Blacks managed to win this time after 24 years!!

| yeah, in the end its the score that matters. But the French really gave them a run for their money especially in the second half. the blacks really soaked up all the french could throw at them... dunno, something about bone crunching tackles that gets me all pumpedup and you can't get that from the other silly game with 20 individuals chasing a round ball | |
