Suggested awards up for grabs in the 2011 GR -GA Season

so here are my suggestions:

#1 Div 1 player of the year and the Div 2 and Div 3

#2 The best newbie who clock most post since join

#3 The most memorable match play (I suggest the Bad Boys vs. ASS team in Jan 4th)

#5 Best lady player (exclude mloy...she is a bro)

I'd love it if GR has its own "hot list" like mygolfspy. Test selected clubs submitted by members and tested by volunteer members on the trackman.

no advertising, no fanatic reviews. Pure head to head test (within 3 shaft class: lady, regular, >stiff). Measure Dispersion, distance, feel, spin rate.

How does 1 do review of clubs?
Many folks will want to wait for others to purchase first then make an informed decision on whether to purchase such a club or not

Wonder if we can tie up with some of the brands to give users a chance to do a review of the clubs.

basically we wont endorse any product/brands, we just ask a number of golfers to hit different clubs, maybe with stock specifications, and simply report the average readings from trackman. E.g. Which driver produces longest carry, lowest spin, irons with lowest dispersion, wedges with highest spin etc etc.

Clubs to be tested depends on the clubs the tester bring to the test. So again, it will not be conclusive. That's why we wont state best clubs etc etc. Let the readings speak for itself.

It's just an idea. I'm happy to volunteer on this project if sunny/moon and the mods are supportive

also another idea is for Wizgolf to pick one lucky tester and do a before fitting and after fitting comparison. This will show forumers the potential benefits of custom fitting.
