Yes, I' m back ... in 1 piece. Laughing

It had been a great get-away, just me with myself and I. Razz
OH, not forgetting a round of golf in the afternoon, followed by massage in the evening ...
Pure pleasure!! Twisted Evil

Just curious, is it OKAY that the caddy takes my club and starts 'digging' the dried roots or leaves in the pond, looking for my 'lost' ball?
My heart kinda pain pain leh ... wouldn't it cause water to sip thru' the hosel and damage the club in any way? No

you can always ask the caddy not to do something with your club that you don't like.
It's your club ultimately so you have the right to tell them off.

Well, I will if I see them digging the root with my club.

With regards to water seepage, I don't think that is possible unless the club is defunct (maybe other bro can confirm this ?) Rust is another matter though.

For me, I alway set the 'ground rules' before I begin. That is clean club after each use (including the grooves) n head cover back on, AT ALL TIMES. If wanna use club to look for my lost ball, only use the wedges. Cos my irons r forged Razz

Oh, and, welcome back. How's your score? Laughing

I didn't tell her cannot. But asked wouldn't it spoil my club? She kept saying "no..no..."
Then I told her, it's okay ... don't hafta look for the ball. silent

Just tell the caddy that she shouldn't do that. Caddies make a lot of assumptions. As they are ultimately being paid by you for their service, you have the right to tell them what you want and don't want. (Mtbdude - something for you to remember)

just tell him/her no lah if you're not comfortable. It's ok and you can tell them nicely also.
Some caddy will look for ball as some ppl expect them to do so (those who use expensive ball) and Caddy will think that it's something that is expected of them to do. So they are trying to serve you better actually (and destroying your club in the process without realizing it hahaha..).

But yes, set the ground rule before hand. I'm also the same as some of the bros here, clean the club after every shot and keep it covered (forged). The same goes with the driver and the wood as well, and they will normally follow. Then just give them more tips if they do well Very Happy
