| Paiseh... but tell him that you're checking out the hot caddy at the green and suddenly, your handicap won't matter. | |

| I thought since your HC is more than the bugger you need the extra edge... i.e. the range finder. Make sure you don't let him or her use... | |

| paiseh is when your handicap is 12 and you play 88...very paiseh is when your handicap is 12 and you play 73.
the range finder can be the excuse both golfer paiseh and very paiseh can blame or accredit his failure or success to.
in SS case he got no excuse, he is just lucky every day....

| The more I think about it, the more I think we shouldn't really care what the other golfer thinks. The rangefinder gives us greater accuracy as to distance and allows us to estimate the club/swing better. I will say, however, that whipping out the rangefinder and then hitting a flop shot will look silly.
So, if your shot is relatively steady and consistent, the rangefinder is a good asset regardless of how much better your other flightmates are.

| I really enjoy playing with WMF. The scenario goes something like this: TS: Wah... why the flag so far'wan? Looks like 150m!! WMF: Not far, bro! (WMF pulls out shiny Bushnell) (WMF waves around shiny Bushnell) WMF: It's only 146.23m, give or take .05m TS: Bro... that's the same as what I said. WMF: No lah... that's the difference between a solid 6i and a semi-solid 6i TS: True! (TS lays up... preparing for a semi-solid 6i) (TS swings a semi-solid 6i) (TS slices the shot, ball goes way right and into the bushes/water) WMF: Come... I help you go look! Sure can find the ball'wan!* *Now that's why I love playing with WMF. One of the most patient and helpful golfers ever!! | |
