Advice needed: Burner 2.0/JPX 800/AP1 ?

Hi guys, i need some help with choosing clubs. Intend to get a set of irons, looking at irons which will give better distance, decent control and some forgiveness.

Shortlisted burner 2.0, JPX800 and AP1. Any advice? thanks!

Tough choice between jpx-800 and burner 2.0. Suggest you try the irons and make a informed decision. Anyone know where you can try both set of irons ?

I think GH carries both, but prices there seem to a little steep. Anyone knows any other shops selling mizuno clubs?

I think you can try JPX-800 and Burner 2.0 at Golf House. Saw both at their Taka outlet.

I'm in love with Mizunos. I'd say go for the JPX

Seriously, try them both out (if you can). I think what suits others may not always suit yourself. Best to see how your body reacts to the clubs

Yes heard many great comments on the JPX. Havent had the chance to try it though..

Anyone tried AP1 before?

most of the clubs you mention can be tried at Golf House, just have a go at them in their indoor area at Marina or Suntec. Decide for yourself then.

Been reading threads on GR that the new range of mizuno irons are coming out soon ? ( end of 2011) will this cause the current models of mizuno irons prices to fall ? Can someone advise? Thanks 

i believe you saw the MP59 and MP69.

yes. it will cause the current model to drop in price. but it will be the MP series, not so much the JPX series.

best try it out at the range if you have friends that has the clubs.
it's entirely different to hitting a wall 4 meter away.

at least for me that is my preferred test scenario..

yes but i am on graphite S flex, really gd deal though. Maybe i should switch to NSP...

i'd go for the JPX irons simply cos they are forged...

Jpx800 is not forged. Only the big brother jpx800 pro is forged. (black face)
