Sounds familiar...much like how I felt last Sunday.

As usual... the day started out all smiling and chit chatting at the tee box... then we began to discuss on the wager for the day...

Slinger: So we play sixes? *grin at ZX*
ZX: NO WAY! *almost immediately*
ZX:....... we play something fairer... we just play vegas today... 1 point $1
Slinger: ok lor... since you scared we 2-5 you again... we play vegas $1/ point then divide by 2 lah... friendly friendly...
Alvin: simi divide by 2? why so troublesome... just cap at 9 strokes per hole lor.... then cap at $100...

(at this point of time... I SWEAR I was trying to imply capping at $100 for the whole game)

Mowen: $100!?!? So much? too big anot???? *beginning to feel uneasy*
Slinger: No lah... we cap at 9 strokes... then $100/ HOLE... wun lose much one lah...
Alvin & ZX: look at each other... swallow a mouthful of saliva...

(I could see in ZX's eyes... he was like asking "I really hope Slinger din call you last night to 2-5 me again".... vice versa)

So... the game begins... I wun bore you with the details... but I thought Mowen's comments throughout the game pretty much sums up how the day went...

End of Hole 1: "WTF!?!?! 1 hole $20+ ?????.... we play so big!?!?!?"
End of Hole 2: "Wah lau eh... every hole $20+ buae tahan leh...."
End of Hole 3: "Nbz... Alvin last night Slinger got call you anot!?!?"
End of Hole 4: "ZX... Slinger called you too!?!?"

End of Hole 6: "nbz nbz.... Gotta rely on myself.... "

End of Hole 17: *Usher Alvin to one side... put both hands on his shoulders... and look deep deep into his eyes... and speak the followig words...* "Partner... Answer me truthfully... did you do me wrong?"

Then turn around and ask ZX the same question again.... (funny he din try to ask Slinger... I wonder why... )

Hole 18, Par 4... ZX partner Mowen... ZX play 8... Mowen play 7.... go figure the rest...

I din even get to say goodbye to my dear partner thereafter....

Alvin - Small beed
ZX - Medium beed
Mowen - Racket beed

And I have found the ideal medication to achieve the ability to clear my flu, makes me high and forget my 10 x missed 2 footers... try FEDAC
