| hi peeps,
need some advice here!
Been thinking of whether to change my iron shafts from NSP 950 S flex to something else, but not sure what I shd explore. Reason for that is cos my ball flight on the iron shots tend to balloon and sometimes becomes a victim of stronger wind conditions.
Tried out some irons at the Laguna range over the weekend and found one shaft that gave a nicer, more boring, lower and more penetrating ball flight. Think i saw some prints on it which stated K'S tour X flex or somethin..
Any feedback on those shafts? Also, was quoted around $80 per shaft with fitting included. is it a reasonable or worthwhile price to pay for?
Thanks | |

Doesn't seem to be KBS bro.. Cos i did try the other irons which had KBS shafts on them. This one does not have the red KBS sticker on it. It had some K'S letterings printed on the shaft...similar to these: http://www.shimadagolf.com/product/index.html

| Outside of Nippon (ns pro), stick to the holy trinity: dynamic gold, project x, and kbs ... Theres enough of these around for you to try out ... Go to a clubfitter like BFG and hit them all ... Its a very personal thing and each of these shafts have a unique feel to them .. What works for me will definately not work for u , etc
Kbs and projec x will cost your around 80, and dynamic gold a bit less

| I took out NSPRO on my PRGR irons and fitted with these at Raymond's about a year ago. It did what I wanted which was to lower my flight. Not too much but enough for me. The feel is slightly softer. Actually you can just fit one iron ( like 6 iron) to try out at range and at green before you decide to fit the entire set. | |

Hahaha...don anyhow advertise for me lei bro...I only broke it once on a good day when the stars all aligned correctly for my putting....hahha...Im still playing in hundred zone.....want a Lower flight cos it seems like all my iron shots are ballooning.... actually im really unsure if it was a right decision to reshaft them. Was starting to stabilize a lil bit more on the irons and the dist control and now i itchy backside go change to a 120gm shaft from NSP.. Im starting to worry if i can even handle it man....
