| Not good enough to write reviews - besides, always too busy thinking why I either duff, top the shot, pull left, slice right, borrow fairway etc to remember anything much about the course... But I remember superficial things. Like how many balls I lose, how many banana I ate, and of course... the nice caddies and the slow (and always on track) buggies. Here's some photograph I took .. The view from clubhouse, 7am First hole tee view - joy of playing in Indo - though buggy on track, but one caddy per person... Wide wide wide fairway - heaven for the slicers.. Tee box marker - my favorite fruit Sidenote - don't drink too much beer on the first nine. Otherwise this is the look in your face... Sleepy.. will post more. | |

| It was one of the nicest course around Jakarta. Scenery is great, usually it's cool out there as it is high on the mountain but it usually rains in the late afternoon.
Course is pretty friendly and not too hard. Some holes are severely uphill and makes it hard to judge distance. Plus the wind is usually blowing pretty hard. And the green, just trust the caddy for the readings and you'll be alrighg.

Not me, not me bro.... That's my Indonesian kaki which I generously filled with beer, on the way there (takes almost 1 hr in early morning from jakarta) and continued during breaky and the first few holes. He gave me 9-9. Happy day for me.

| Something happened here.... See this guy below? For some reason he tees off 150m or so.... but his 3 wood goes 200m. Now, he's hitting 3 woods... .... but this time he hits too far right... and hit this thing - marshall's post Caddies then discuss what to do while the culprit just smiling slyly.... | |

| Nice course. I want to try this course in my next visit but priorities goes to Jagorawi....I think I have score to settle with the course. Next would be Gunung, Geulis, then Rancamaya.
One thing I got to respect for Jak course is the green speed. They are freaking fast. Easily 9.5 if not 10/11 index.

| Teed off at about 7.45 and it was 9.5. Gets faster with the time of day.

http://imperialklubgolf.com/index_sub.asp?fuseaction=Course Bro, The design it self is very interesting. Every holes has its own challenge. The caddies are nice too. in fact, i would like to play more often in Jakarta. Learned that they have 54 courses around with very good condition. And, the green fees is reasonable. I hope to play in cengkareng course during my next visit.

| Bro khorkar it is quite a good challenging course (although for me any course always are challenging). Some of the green are small and tabletop raised so for ppl who cant spin (like me...) it is v hard to get it right there on the green. It's a championship for Asian PGA tour in Feb this year.
Other championship course nearby there is Damai Indah BSD. these are west of jakarta whole ranca, gg, jagorawi are all hours away south of jakarta.
Btw when i was in imperial i let pass a member of their club - he has only one hand, left, and he is in his 60's and heard he is mid handicapper. Played with his one (left) hand as if he is a right hander (so back-handed left hand) - very straight and quite some distance. He also has his name on the whole in one wall... Motivating...

| Bros if you play a lot in jakarta its probably worth considering if you can join an open club like global golf... Its only a few mil rups and gets you super low green fee (pkayed in imperial for only less than 300k with buggy n caddy i think). Bro noodleball.. Cengkareng is a busy walking course and one with high-ish green fee (az it's super popular - sometimes you sit in starter's hut with 6 other full flights queueing. But try it out it's a nice course with sometimes waaay too friendly caddies | |

in fact, i would like to play more often in Jakarta. Learned that they have 54 courses around with very good condition. And, the green fees is reasonable. I hope to play in cengkareng course during my next visit. One suggestion. If you are catching the afternoon flight back to Singapore, you can play at Cengkareng in the morning (tee off say around 6am) and it will be just a five - ten minutes journey to the airport. No need to worry about traffic jam, etc...
