pleasant meeting acidic88 and his frend at the den today and had the opportunity to try these irons today:-

1) mp58 fitted on some graphite shafts

- didnt like it...the head felt hard...didnt feel lk forged at all

2) mp53 on nspro950
- not bad...felt better thn mp58 but i tink the mp52 were nicer

3) ap2 on some graphite shaft
-didnt realli liked it...maybe cuz of the shaft

4) ap2 on nspro
-not bad but felt dead

5) bfg proto 3 on kbs/ i80
- felt very soft! softer thn my current prototype

6) TM CB TP on nspro 950
-i was surprised how this irons played! felt good too! better thn the mizunos

7) mizuno jpx800
-didnt like it.... eventhough they felt a tad softer thn the mp58

so many choices but limited $$$ ...wat a headache!

also tried my coach's special harmonic tuned set!!
felt so different and shiok i had 1 installed on my wedge to try out

I like this combination, new proto 3 bode well with my limited skills and has stunning looks. I really like them.

Hi Kian, nice meeting you, DGman, PS and KK. It was my first trip to BFG and now I know why its also called the den. Smile

My friend isn't on GR but she is heavily poisoned by the Steelfiber shafts..

Didn't realize there is JPX800 as I was considering it before getting my R9. I tried the AP2 on NSPro, I actually prefer them compared to my R9 and MP58. Maybe that is due to the club being forged vs cast. I got to try the Zen Zim putter, it felt good but I'm too lousy to handle it properly.
