| Just came back from my trip and saw in Korean duty free that something that Oakley sell here for $500+ is labeled as US$ 259 there (polarized radar path). Website store listed this at US$ 260. Just to be sure, asked at taka today and they sell even only the lens for 358 - more expensive than the whole set elsewhere. What marketing strategy is this, I wonder....   | |

SG is still very expensive compered to US! | |

| Polarized lens carry a warranty. So those bought out of Singapore and also non authorized agents will not be covered. Tip is to buy frame elsewhere and just het te lens in singapore. But do we need polarized lens??? | |

| not really duffy... more useful is probably photochromatic...
but the point is, the price of similar lenses are about +50% more expensive here.... or probably to your point, then dont need to buy warrantied lens and source everything outside? | |

| That is why everybody wants to be the authorised distributor for a hot brand. Then they can call the prices since they know people will still buy. I am a die hard oakley fan so if its affordable and i like it, i will buy.
If you know the camper brand of shoes, you will know that they sell it at crazy price in singapore. In phillipines, you can get the same model at half the price. So it still up to the buyers decision when it comes to such stuff. | |

BUT the do not do delivering outside of USA, so you have to arrange for your own courier like CGW. Also just bought the new GPS nike watch from online stores. same process.
