| It's Endo forged. Premium clubs. coupled with your light shafts should be super forgiving and long.
Enjoy! Cheers

| Hi everyone, can't start a thread so I'm riding on the closest one I can find.
Anyone using the onoff clubs and has reviews on them? I'm actually looking at a second-hand set but its really difficult to find one!

| On-0ff is Japanese made but not made in Japan. its forged by Endo in the Eagle factory which located in Bangkok. when i was there last year, the 2013 On-off was just coming off the production.
all clubs made by endo are well designed with emphasis on performance and not just looks. the people at endo pay a lot of attention to details and they know what they are doing. in my opinion they are better produced in tolerance and quality control than the so-called hand mades.
now if you think about it. can you hand made a high performance product like a car engine...most likely not but the nice looking stuff like the leather seats..yes.
also the folks at Endo emphasize a lot on the forging process and why they use temperature control furnace instead of tradition coal. the fact is once metal is heated above 1200 degrees, it hardens and from small foundry, they almost never use temperature control furnace and they certainly do not use a 12-ton press to forged (compress the metal).
finally take a close look at Yamaha Impress, Callaway Legacy Black (coming soon), the new S-Yard, the new Honmas, On-off, the Callaway X-forged, Tourstage, XXiO and you will find a lot of similarity. Endo is not just OEM but a ODM company. In fact brands like Yamaha entrust the entire operations except for distribution to Endo.
hope it helps, i am sure someone who knows metallurgy can tell us more.

Thanks DGman for the informative post. Yes I read somewhere that its endo forged of s20c, of which I have no idea what it is or what it gives other than it being a steel with a certain amount of carbon content.
pardon my ignorance but it does sound as if to be endo forged is the be all and end all. Haha.

| Gaming the 2012-2013 onoff forged.. Very forgiving, soft and addictive.. Medium sized.. Was a toss between the yamaha impres x and the onoffs.. No regrets on the onoffs.. | |

| Definitely looks like a players set.. Thin top line and not wide nor narrow..
But easy to play with.. Read that theres not much difference between the new and the previous model..

| There are forums that sell these babies.. But the prices are quite pricey.. I guess it all depends on your budget and specs preference.
Good luck with your search.
