| Here is what I think:
1. Motivator 2. Listener 3. Ego massager 4. Bag carrier 5. Diver into water hazzard to grab clubs..if it gets thrown into it
6. And if the caddy is Steve, camera basher
But ......I seen some having to carry umbrella to shelter the golfer during rain........i think abit too over the board... | |

| They must also rake the bunkers if not, the players will get fine. | |

| from the list mentioned by DS, i suddenly remember that's exactly what i did during one of game when my buggy mate is a lady, i even need to carry umbrella for her (btw, there is no rain that day hor), rake bunker for her......
darm !!!..now i felt like a caddy.... | |

| keep a look out for hazards just in case player ground his/her club
remind player to wake up for tee time
replenish energy bars, bananas, advils, EPO, dope etc
pay the girls

| I think the role of a very good Tour caddy can be better defined on things they don't do: Play for the player. | |
