| Looks like who will be the US Open winner is a foregone conclusion. The rest are only competing for 2nd and 3rd places ... What a lacklustre tourney! Unless Rory suffers another big-time meltdown in the final and someone catches up close ... I would like to see YE Yang doing that ... | |

You never know....remember Rory's misadventure in Malaysia. Hard to say until he goes into the 18th hole....

| Final day.
At the 10th, YE Yang hits a 3hybrid to about 5-6ft and Rory replies with a 6iron past the pin and spun back to tap in distance.

| I dunno if its due to TV sound effects or not. But Rory's ball striking sounds so damn pure on TV. Best part, commentator would say, "Its Mcllroy.......(hits ball)....(shhhiiikkkkkkk).........with the 4 iron...." Next scene....ball landed it few feet to the pin!!!! | |

| the US media already saying the course is too kind to players this year (tee box moved forwards, rough not so rough etc), got rain lar so the ground is soft, got this, got that...... LOL a lot not happy the US players are not as dominating without Tiger. Even the Asian players are making some noise.
Sergio however should just quit (like Padraig who looks content to live vicariously thru Rory) face so black even after getting a birdie....

| the playing conditions was the same for everyone barring the luck of the draw for the tee times on the first two days and the effect of weather, etc etc. but the tee boxes and rough was the same for everyone in it, i don't see what's there to complain. Just because more players were able to shoot below par or fire at the pin more freely as compared to previous US opens doesn't mean it is any less of any other Major. I think being able to shoot low is what attract more viewership and fans and not make the course harder and harder or longer and longer. | |
