| How much backspin are you after?
Singapore greens are not like PGA Tour conditioned greens... No way are we going to have that much backspin!!!
Also it could also be due to one's technique...

| If its Fourteen, look for the V4's. The V5's are conforming and they no longer bite as well.
Was at Taka on Monday, some Fourteen wedges left on display going @ SGD $175..... Not sure if they revert to non-sale price of SGD $220

I'm in Osaka now, and just returned from the Taylormade / Adidas boutique. Sooooo many stuff not available in Singapore.. Adidas shirts / pants / etc etc that are meant only for Japanese market. Really drooling. You want the wedge from here? Hahahahaa.. You want more backspin? Play snooker lah.. In the mean time, back to shoppiingggg....

| some say that japanese wedges they have better quality, which is why they are more expensive. but it all depends on one's feel i guess. stick to the ones you are comfortable with. tried fourteen and romaro, and both felt good. also tried 1 jap brand, chikara, very nice feel but too expensive. cost twice of fourteen? check it out http://chikaradesigns.com/products/v3_wedge_images.html | |

| Check out tourspecgolf.com.... hard not to impressed by the Japanese craftmanship. I have a Yururi "Football Jersey Number" Seida and that thing used to shred the covers, or well at least make a terrible mark on the ball on a good full wedge shot. | |

| I got it from the Wedges bin at Greenfield Golf in FESC, I don't think Yururi is available locally though. | |
