Users Banned

Dear all,

Please observe the forum rules and regulations. Some of you have noticed that certain users had been banned.

These are the possible reasons:

1. Personal attack without basis which could lead to libel

2. Posting of authorised/copyrighted images

3. Posting fake items or unauthorised items for sale

4. Badmouthing our forum in other media(we appreciate honest feedback and criticisms but no badmouthing)

I just want to add that representatives of certain groups/organisations have contacted us about unauthorized usage of their material amongst other things and we had to take action accordingly.

I would like to clear the air about this issue.

There has been speculation that the moderators and admin are starting to ban people as and when we wish.

Let me reassure all that this is not the case. As long as the postings are in line with the FORUM RULES, there is no reason for the mods and admin to take action at all. Also, if you are intending to spam, be aware that you will be in violation of our house rules.

Let me also say that we seek all forum users' understanding that your postings also require your own personal censorship. End of the day, we run this place as a hobby and not our full-time jobs. Moderating it and protecting forum users might not be easy for us should we run into issues with outside parties on copyrighted or unapproved material.

Dear all,

I think the moderating team had been very patient with some users who are deliberately interfering with the running of the forum. We have received many pms or questions during meet ups on why such users are not banned. Always, the answer would be that we hope that the users would change their minds and participate in constructive manners but our patience are wearing thin.

Mervyntan would be banned for a period of 10 days indefinitely and the offending posts removed.

We thank you for supporting the moderation team to make the forum a friendly and enjoyable place.
