after extensive manual testing, malaysian policemen have perfected a method for lifting fingerprints from women, normally found in various states of undress, in JB KTVs and those posing as caddies at golf courses....these will now be matched to those crossing the border for 'massages' after golf or during a round..... you've been warned ah....especially those requesting for XMM caddies at HH.....

| Slightly veering from the main topic, but still on immigration...
In Malaysian immi card, under reason for visit there are: "holiday" and also: "sport". I always ticked holiday... what do you do? which one do you tick?

| This morning hit the JB Immigration around 6.30 am. Don't have leh.... Anyway, I have the MAC thingy so nothing change at all. Nobody entering came down for finger scanning. Maybe they have not started yet at that time. With MAC, don't need white card nor finger scanning. So guys just pay RM30 and solves all hassle crossing over. | |

Yupz, go there weekly and with the MAC, so far no fingerprint scanning is required. But the jam on the 2nd link going to M'sia immigration is about the longest I've remembered seeing (@ around 1 plus in the afternoon). Tot it was due to sch holidays starting...

Makesure you have at least 2 yrs to expiry date before doing the above. If not, then the counter will reject yr application.

The MAC is actually a chip embedded in your passport. Just pass your passport as usual at the immigration counter and they will just scan it. No different from what you are doing now except no need white card and no need to chop passport

| Hi Bro, you don't have to get out of your car. Just hand over the PP to the officer like the white card but they will return to you once they see the MAC. Sometime you just show your MAC and they wave you pass. | |
